Refund Policy Details
Eligibility
- All new subscriptions (monthly, annual, and 2-year plans) are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase date.
- The 7-day guarantee applies to first-time purchases only. If you have previously received a refund and re-subscribe, the guarantee does not apply to the second subscription.
- Renewals (automatic or manual) are not eligible for the 7-day guarantee but may be eligible for prorated refunds at our discretion.
How to Request a Refund
- Send an email to support@kookvpn.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include the email address associated with your KookVPN account.
- Briefly describe why you are requesting a refund (optional -- we do not require a reason within the 7-day period).

Processing Time
- Credit/Debit Card (Stripe) -- Refund processed within 5-7 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3-5 business days to appear on your statement.
- PayPal -- Refund processed within 3-5 business days.
- Cryptocurrency -- Due to the nature of cryptocurrency transactions, refunds for crypto payments will be issued in the equivalent USD value at the time of the original purchase, converted to the same cryptocurrency at the current exchange rate. Processing time: 5-10 business days.
After the 7-Day Period
Refund requests received after the 7-day guarantee period are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We may offer:
- A prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription
- Service credit toward a future subscription
- Technical support to resolve the underlying issue
We are not obligated to provide refunds after the 7-day period, but we believe in fairness. If KookVPN genuinely fails to provide the advertised service, we will work with you to find a resolution.
Non-Refundable Situations
- Account terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
- Issues caused by factors outside KookVPN's control (ISP outages, device hardware failures, third-party software conflicts).
- Failure to meet speed expectations -- while we optimize for performance, connection speed depends on your ISP, location, and network conditions.
Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancelling your subscription and requesting a refund are separate actions:
- Cancellation stops future billing. Your service continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refund returns your payment and immediately terminates access to the Service.
If you want to cancel but continue using the Service through your current billing period, request a cancellation. If you want your money back, request a refund.
