1. Our Zero-Log Guarantee
KookVPN operates under a strict zero-log policy. This is not marketing language -- it is a technical reality of how our infrastructure is configured.
Our VPN servers are configured to write no logs to disk. There are no access logs, no connection logs, no traffic logs, no DNS query logs. The server operating system's logging for VPN-related processes is disabled at the configuration level.
We cannot produce data we do not have. If served with a legal request for user activity data, we have nothing to provide.
2. What We Collect
The only information we collect is what is strictly necessary to operate your account:
- Account email address -- Used for authentication, subscription management, and support communication.
- Payment information -- Processed by third-party payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, cryptocurrency processors). We do not store credit card numbers or bank details. We receive only a transaction confirmation.
- Support correspondence -- Emails and messages you send to our support team are retained to provide ongoing assistance.
That is the complete list. There is nothing else.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
We explicitly do not collect, store, or process:
- Browsing history or website visits
- DNS queries
- Connection timestamps (when you connect or disconnect)
- Session duration
- Your originating IP address
- Bandwidth usage per session
- Traffic content or metadata
- Application-level data (which apps you use)
- Device identifiers or hardware fingerprints
4. How We Use Information
The limited information we collect is used exclusively for:
- Account management -- Creating your account, managing your subscription, processing renewals.
- Customer support -- Responding to your questions and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Service communication -- Sending you important account notifications (payment confirmations, subscription renewals, service updates). We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services in the operation of KookVPN:
- Stripe -- Credit card payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- PayPal -- Alternative payment processing. Subject to PayPal's Privacy Policy.
- DigitalOcean -- Server infrastructure hosting. DigitalOcean does not have access to VPN traffic, which is encrypted end-to-end.
- Cloudflare -- Website hosting and CDN for kookvpn.com (the marketing website only, not VPN traffic).
- Web3Forms -- Contact form processing.
None of these services have access to your VPN traffic or browsing activity.
6. Data Storage and Security
Account data (email, subscription status) is stored with industry-standard encryption. VPN servers use encrypted disks and are configured to write no user-activity logs.
All VPN traffic is encrypted using the VLESS+Reality+Vision protocol with TLS 1.3. DNS queries are encrypted via DNS-over-TLS. The kill switch feature prevents any unencrypted traffic from leaving your device if the VPN connection drops.
In the event of a server compromise, there would be no historical user activity data to extract because none is stored.
7. Your Rights
Regardless of your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
- Access -- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
- Correction -- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion -- Request deletion of your account and all associated data within 30 days.
- Data portability -- Request your data in a portable format.
- Objection -- Object to processing of your data for any purpose.

If you are a resident of the European Union or European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. 9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers. Continued use of KookVPN after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
